Double Envelope and its parent company, BSC Ventures, have acquired the operating assets of Oles Envelope Corporation in Baltimore, Maryland. Founded in 1912, Oles operates a 115,000 square foot custom envelope manufacturing facility with a focus on the direct mail market.

BSC's family includes Double Envelope, a custom envelope manufacturer with plants in Roanoke, Virginia and Gainesville, Florida and Convertagraphics, a four-color inline web printer and converter in Roanoke. BSC Ventures acquired direct mail printer Champion Printing in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Champion joins BSC's Convertagraphics, a four-color direct mail web printer in Roanoke, VA and Double Envelope, a custom envelope manufacturer with plants in Roanoke and Gainesville, FL.


 

 

BSC Ventures is a custom envelope manufacturer and web offset printer producing envelopes, bind-in order forms, mailers, and specialty packaging for the catalog, direct mail, and statement processing industries. BSC produces in excess of 2.5 billion custom envelopes per year. The company has established acknowledged leadership positions in the specialty segments of the envelope market, such as direct mail, photo finishing and the financial services industry.

BSC Ventures was formed as BSC Enterprises in 1999 by Brian Sass and Stockton Croft to acquire the assets of Techno-Aide from National Service Industries . In January of 2001, BSC acquired the assets of Double Envelope, Convertagraphics, and Diversified Assembly.

In 2003, BSC Ventures moved it's corporate headquarters from Atlanta, Georgia to Roanoke Virginia.

In October 2006, BSC Ventures acquired Champion Printing, Inc. which operates in Cincinnati, Ohio.

In May 2010, BSC Ventures acquired Oles Envelope Corporation which operates in Baltimore, Maryland.

In December 2010, BSC Ventures acquired Wolfe Envelope Corporation which operates in Angola, Indiana.
