Brian Sass
Brian founded BSC Ventures along with Stockton Croft in 1999 and has been CEO since its inception. Prior to BSC, he was Vice President of Operations for Atlantic Envelope Company (AECO), a $220 million division of National Service Industries (NSI). Brian joined AECO as Corporate Director of Manufacturing in 1993 and was later named General Manager of the Atlanta facility. Brian played basketball at Oglethorpe University where he graduated Cum Laude and completed a dual degree program with Georgia Tech, earning a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. After graduation, he progressed though a number of increasingly responsible roles with Frito-Lay and Avery Dennison before joining AECO. Brian has served two terms on the Board of Directors for the Envelope Manufacturers Association (EMA) and is currently on the Board of Trustees of Oglethorpe University.

Stockton Croft
Stockton was the Director of Strategic Planning at National Service Industries when he and Brian Sass founded BSC Ventures in 1999. He served as the President and CFO of BSC through 2003. In 2004 he was named was named Executive Director and Head of the U.S. Private Equity firm Arcapita Inc. where he remained until leaving in 2013 to found Eagle Merchant Partners. Stockton holds a B.S. from the University of Virginia and was a Palmer Scholar at the Wharton School where he earned an MBA with Distinction.

Mike Gandolfo
Mike is a 25 year veteran in the Communications and Media industry sector with a specialty in strategic partnerships and corporate development. He currently serves as Vice President for the Communications & Media industry at Equifax responsible for the vertical market development. Mike’s background includes merger, acquisition, and private placement work in the cable, wireline, and wireless telecommunications segments. Previous assignments include senior executive management positions at IBM, Accenture, and SAS Institute helping expand their industry presence and improve their technology solution offerings. He has served as the chairman for the roaming fraud subcommittee at the GSMA and as the lead executive responsible for a patent pending analytical risk management solution for FICO. Mike was an All American tennis player while at Clemson and a former top 100 professional on the ATP tour.
Mike was appointed to the Board in 2006.

W. Tucker Lemon
Tucker, a native of Roanoke, Virginia, received his BA in Economics from Princeton University and his JD from the University of Virginia School of Law. Tucker practiced corporate and entertainment law for twelve years in Los Angeles before returning to Roanoke in 1998 and joining his father and brother at Martin, Hopkins & Lemon where he is President of the firm and continues his corporate practice representing start ups and closely held family businesses while also managing real estate and angel investments. An adamant supporter of local arts and culture, Tucker currently serves on the Board of Thomas Jefferson’s Poplar Forest, the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities, and Explore Park.
Tucker was appointed to the Board in 2006.

Jonathan M. Peyton (Jon)
Executive Vice President of OperationsJon is a 20 year veteran of the envelope industry and currently serves as Executive Vice President of Operations for BSC Ventures. He joined Double Envelope as the Plant Manager of the Roanoke, Virginia facility and later served as General Manager before promotion to his current assignment in 2010. After graduating Cum Laude from East Tennessee State University, Jon started his career in the envelope industry with Atlantic Envelope Company (AECO) in 1995. He held a variety of increasing responsible management positions in several AECO facilities before joining Double Envelope in 2004.
As Executive Vice President of Operations, Jon is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of Convertagraphics and the four Double Envelope plants. He partners with John Draper to provide direction to the General Managers and to create a well-integrated, “One Company,” approach with customers. Jon also handles key suppliers relations, leads quality and process improvement initiatives, and maintains personal relations with major clients.

John Draper
Executive Vice President of SalesJohn is currently Executive Vice president of Sales for BSC Ventures and has more than 25 years of envelope industry experience. A graduate of the Virginia Military Institute, John started his career with Double Envelope as a Sales Executive and was moved to increasingly important markets including Baltimore and Washington, DC before promotion to Sales Manager of the Virginia Division in 2002. He was promoted to Vice President of Sales in 2008 and appointed to his current role in 2010.
As Executive Vice President of Sales, John is responsible for managing the Company’s 15 outside Sales Executives and takes a hands-on role with major clients. He oversees pricing and contract negotiation in addition to providing leadership to the General Managers in partnership with Jon Peyton to create a well- integrated, “One Company,” approach with customers.
